Beginning January, 12th, 2023 – 6:00pm – 7:30pm CENTRAL TIME
This is a 6 week on-line course series in Chicana/o/x Psychology. This course is open to anyone with an interest in this content. Each session will be 1.5 hours and evaluation sent to participants after each session. After evaluations are completed, participants will be emailed their certificate of attendance and after all 6 are completed they will receive a certificate of course completion. This course examines the current and historical status of Mexican Americans in the field of psychology. Psychological research and theory on the cultural, societal, and historical influences on the well-being and characteristics of Mexican Americans will be explored. The cost for the entire series is $70.
This will be a Zoom event (zoom.us). Participants will receive their Zoom link to the class 30 minutes before each session.
All class sessions will be from 6:00pm – 7:30pm CENTRAL TIME (CDT)/ 4:00-5:30pm PACIFIC TIME
