April 13th – May 18th This on-line course will explore the role of Chicana/o/x identity and its impact on the lived experiences of the Chicana/o/x community.

This is a 6 week on-line course series in Chicana/o/x Psychology. This course is open to anyone with an interest in this content. Each session will be 1.5 hours and evaluation sent to participants after each session. After evaluations are completed, participants will be emailed their certificate of attendance and after all 6 are completed they will receive a certificate of course completion.
This course is part of the Institute’s on-going series in Chicana/o/x Psychology. The role of Chicana/o/x ethnic identity is a foundational aspect and the most researched area in Chicana/o/x Psychology. Chicana/o/x identity is also a core aspect of the Chicana/o/x experience historically and contemporarily. This course will explore the different influences in Chicano identity development and its impact on individual and community wellness and well-being. The cost for the entire series is $70.
Participants will receive their Zoom link to the class 30 minutes before each session.

No external readings and no exams. Participants will be required to respond to what they learned in each session via an evaluation. The classes will be recorded and the recorded sessions will be available for one week after the live date. So, participants may still receive credit if they view and respond to the evaluation of each session.
